- All others are to remain outside the school
We are looking for Grade 8 students who would like some summer employment. The first week in July and the last week in August. A resume, 3 teacher references and a permission letter from your parents is needed.
You must have a Social Insurance number and a Checking account.

Attention Dunsmuir! We have challenged Spencer Middle School to a community clean-up. Dunsmuir classes have from Monday, May 30th to Friday, June 3rd to pick-up garbage from the surrounding area. Teachers, please keep track of the number of garbage bags your class collects and submit the number to Ms. Knoke at the end of the day on June 3rd. The school with the most number of garbage bags collected wins! Let’s do this, Dunsmuir! *Leadership will come around with garbage bags and gloves.
The Grade 8 Leaving Ceremony is June 16th.
Tickets are $45 and available online
It will be a Dinner and Dance with Door Prizes at Olympic View Golf Course.

Events begin at 4 pm – estimate 6:00 finish. Track events are run oldest to youngest in the order listed below.
2000m final**
Check results from May 12th online to determine the top 16 runners for the 2000m. (top 16 plus 2 alternates should attend for boys and girls) If your athlete is NOT going to participate, contact the Meet Director.
- 4X100 relay qualifying—all schools be prepared to provide workers as zone judges
- Other track events as needed to complete
- 4×200 practice races follow if time permits (self-time)
