TEEN VAPING: GET THE FACTS MAY 7th

DISNEYLAND 2020 REGISTER BY MAY 24TH PLEASE!
EF Tours has designed a custom tour for Dunsmuir school to visit Los Angeles/Disneyland next March. We ask that you try to enroll by May 24th to ensure we have enough attendees to run the trip – go to www.eftours/enrol to register. Our tour number is 2223856BE. Reminder that parents and students are welcome to sign up for the trip! Parents enrolling will not have chaperoning responsibilities – we will bring SD62 chaperones along.
If you were unable to attend the meeting and would like more information – voila!

Royal Bay will also be running the same trip at the same time and will travel with us. If you have a child that will be attending Royal Bay next year, contact Karen Snowsell at Royal Bay for trip information.
The New York trip this year was amazing – join us for Disneyland this time!

YEARBOOKS – DEADLINE MAY 31st
A reminder the deadline for paying is coming up!  Please if you haven’t done your consent, do it soon! It takes 24-48 hours to complete the process if this is your first time paying online for any items.  You will need your child’s pen number to attach your child.  Please call the office (250-478-5548) to get the pen number.

GRADE 8 LEAVING – DEADLINE MAY 31ST
Grade 8 Parents, we are now officially in the month of May, and Grade 8 leaving fees are due on May 31st. These fees are to be paid online. Late submissions will not be accepted. If you have any questions, please contact Sarah Baas (sbaas@sd62.bc.ca).

AMAZING TRIP TO SPAIN – ROYAL BAY  – SPRING BREAK 2021
The Royal Bay Language department is planning another amazing trip to SPAIN for Spring Break 2021. We will fly in to Madrid and travel south for a ten day tour of Seville, Granada, Malaga and the Costa del Sol (sunshine and beach time). There are limited spots available as we would like to keep the group under 25 students. Monthly payments are available and cost includes flights, hotels, transportation and all meals except lunch. This is a fantastic opportunity for students to learn about Spanish culture and practice speaking the language. We now have 775 Consents done!  We are so close in getting our whole school signed up.  See below for instructions on getting signed up!

There will be track and field practice at Royal Bay today after school.  Meet at the PE shed and we will run down together. Remember to arrange for rides from Royal Bay.

 
 

Pizza Friday is back this week!  After a couple of sell out weeks we’ve ordered extra this week, with extra Hawaiian too! Yum, pineapple!
