Who can register?
Any one in grades 6-8 who’s ready to sweat, learn to dance to some sweet beats, belong to an awesome dance community and have fun performing hip hop dance in the community!
No Previous dance experience is required!
When? Every Friday after school (exact time will depend on class placement)
Where? Dunsmuir Dance Studio
Audition/Placement Class: FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 27th
2:45-3:45 (NEW DANCERS/BEGINNERS/JCUBZ from last year)
3:45-4:45 (EXPERIENCED/WOLFPACK/DMSIZ from last year)
Registration Fee? Only $75.00 for the whole year!!! (costume fee is separate)
Instructor: Brooklynn Alexander
Brooklyn is a performance/competitive artist & dance instructor. She started her journey in dance at the early age of 3 years old learning Ballet and Jazz. Just the year after at the age of 4, she found her love for Hip Hop. She quickly became a member of the competitive crew “Lil G’s”, competing all over the island, mainland, and United States. In 2023, Brooklyn was chosen to represent Team Canada West in Kielce, Poland at the IDO World Championships, placing 2nd in the world. Brooklyn is based in Victoria and continues to train & compete. She hopes to pass on her knowledge of Hip Hop history and foundation while sharing her love of this art with her students.
