Home / Students Announcements / June is Indigenous History Month

This week we recognize the history of the Environment, traditional knowledge and territory.

Indigenous communities across Canada have long observed and responded to changes in the environment. Their deep connection to the land has made them among the first to notice the effects of climate change. By combining traditional knowledge with modern science, Indigenous people offer valuable insights into caring for our planet. Learning from Indigenous perspectives helps us all understand the importance of respecting nature and working together to protect our shared home.
