Tours August 26th and August 28th
We will be offering two group school tours in the week prior to school starting. The tours will be with our school counsellor, Sean Pollitt, and will take place on Monday August 26th and Wednesday August 28th at 9:00am. Please meet at the front doors of the school building for this activity. No RSVP necessary
Start up Schedule for 2024-25 Gradual Grade Entry
Please see below for start-up information and the specific times your child will attend for the first week next school year.
The Bus Schedule will be as follows:
September 3 – buses will run in the morning (pick-up) and at 11:31 for Grade 6 students who ride the bus.
September 4 – buses will run in the morning (pick-up) and after school (drop-off)
**on September 4, Grade 7 students who ride the bus will need a way home at 11:31 and Grade 8 students who ride the bus will need a way to school at 12:06.
Thank you for your support and understanding as we work towards getting each student oriented to the new school year in the most organized and calm manner possible.
Week 1
Tuesday- September 3– 8:45-11:31 Grade 6 students ONLY– will meet in the gym where they can check the class lists (alpha lists will be posted), meet their teacher in the line (in the gym) and be guided to their classroom to begin the Welcome and Orientation for the school year.
Wednesday- September 4- 8:45-11:31- Grade 7 Students ONLY – students will arrive at the school and check the posted class lists for their name. Once they know whose class they are in and the room # they are in, they will make their way to that location. Staff will be in the hallways to assist students and direct them to their classrooms. **please note, students will be dismissed at 11:31 am and will need a way home at this time as there are no buses.
Wednesday- September 4- 12:06-2:41 – Grade 8 Students ONLY– students will arrive at the school and check the posted class lists for their name. Once they know whose class they are in and the room #, they will make their way to that location. Staff will be in the hallways to assist students and direct them to their classroom.
Thursday- September 5- 8:45-2:41 -whole school in attendance– Regular schedule
Friday- September 6– Planning for a Whole School BBQ. Students should bring water and clothing suitable for being outside for the afternoon. Sunscreen recommended.
